JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is a medium sized practice who work on projects from
architectural design and planning to project management and PSDP.
Looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their design team to
work on a variety of projects.
Preparing planning applications.
Producing detailed drawings for building regulations applications and
tender packages.
Negotiating with contractors and other professionals.
Attending meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists;
Coordinating the work of contractors.
Keeping within financial budgets and time deadlines.
Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project
is running within the agreed time frame and according to
specification.
Solving problems that might occur during building.
Carrying out defect inspections.
Undertaking any other tasks within your capabilities as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with Building regulations, BCMS and statutory requirements.
At least 5 years’ experience in the preparation and development of
planning, tender, fire certificate, tender and construction drawings /
specifications.
Proficient at CAD, ACAD and ideally Revit
Experienced and knowledgeable with Irish/UK B-Regs and statutory
requirements of Assigned & Design Certifiers
Experienced and comfortable in Tender/construction detailing and
specifications
Site meetings and on-site supervision during construction experience
Management and team player etc.
Clean driving license and own transport preferrable
